Our Pastor
Pastor Theodore Colbert is the only son of the late Moses Colbert and Ota Mae Batey. Pastor Colbert was saved at the age of 13 under the ministry of the late Administrative Assistant Booker T. Stephen at Stephen Temple Church of God In Christ in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Superintendent Colbert accepted his call to the ministry in 1977. In 1984 he was appointed Pastor of Stephen Temple Church. He furthered his education by attending the Ashland Theological Seminary in which he received the degree of Master of Arts, Divinity. Superintendent Colbert accepted the challenge to lead Godís people at a young age. By faith he has lead Stephen Temple Church to different levels of faith. He stands firm against every opposition to make sure that by his example, the people of God can overcome, not yielding to the flesh man, but the sprit man. He lives up to his responsibility to preach and teach with understanding. In July 2005 Pastor Colbert was appointed Superintendent of the Judah District under the leadership of Bishop P. A. Brooks, Northeast Michigan Historic Jurisdiction.
